Saher Khan is a journalist at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. Based in New York and originally from the Chicagoland, she has worked as an intern with the Council on American Islamic Relations in Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times’ Splash Magazine as well as with VICE and HBO. Her reporting interests are in general news and human rights stories.
The Hijabi Monologues uses entertainment while other programs take a different approach, but the goal is the same: to share the diverse lived experiences of Muslim women.
