Child Tax Credit Leaves Many Female Parents Behind

President Bush’s first agenda item this fall should be to compel the Republican-controlled House to adopt the Senate’s child tax credit bill. It would extend relief to 7 million families–often female-headed–so far left empty-handed by Congress.
