She Rocks the Runways for Plus-Size Fashion

Hayley Hasselhoff, the Wilhelmina model, who wears a size 14, wants women to get the message: The best thing you can do for yourself is to love your body. On Sept. 26 she’ll be back on the catwalk, in England’s Curve Fashion Festival.

The models on this year’s runways were not uniformly tall and thin. Many strutted their stuff as role models, as women with physical disabilities, plus-sized, ethnically diverse, transgender. “We’re at a flash point with awareness,” said the owner of a model-casting company.
