Help Women's eNews raise $100,000 this year and ensure 2013 IS the year of the woman!

Why Women's eNews?

Your donation supports reporting that puts women in the picture and combat gender discrimination worldwide.

Read Holocaust Women's Rape Breaks Decades of Taboo

In May 2011 correspondent Cynthia Cooper wrote about the authors who wrote a book about rape and the Holocaust. Women's eNews was the first print publication to give space to this topic and the controversy around it. It was subsequently reprinted in Israel, in the Jewish Journal and used as the basis for stories on Canadian radio and CNN.

Read Arrested Iowa Meat Packers Live in Legal Limbo

In December 2009 Women's eNews reporter Susan Elan wrote a story about eleven immigrant women in Iowa who were still being forced to wear electronic tracking devices on their ankles 19 months after being arrested and detained during a massive immigration raid on the meatpacking plant at which they worked. Shortly after the story's appearance on the Women's eNews site, U.S. Immigrations & Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials removed the monitoring devices from the women's ankles.

With your partnership, we will continue telling women's stories, elevating women's voices, and changing women's lives from New York City to New Delhi, from the Midwest to the Middle East.

Give a gift to Women's eNews from December 1st to 31st and our Board of Directors will match your contribution.*
