    Barbara Lee Family Foundation


    The Barbara Lee Family Foundation, based in Cambridge, MA was established in 1999. It was founded by Barbara Lee to strategically advance two of her longstanding passions – women in politics and the contemporary arts.


    The Chicago Foundation for Women

    Envisions a society in which the voices and potential of women and girls are fully realized. To this end, the Foundation raises and distributes funds to provide opportunities and promote solutions for women and girls."


    EMILY's List

    An acronym for “Early Money Is Like Yeast” (it helps the “dough” rise), EMILY’s List is the nation’s largest grassroots political network, raising campaign contributions for pro-choice Democratic women candidates running for the House, the Senate and for governor; helping women candidates build strong, winning campaigns; and helping mobilize women voters.


    Global Fund for Women

    A grantmaking foundation supporting women's human rights organizations around the world working to address critical issues such as gaining economic independence, increasing girls' access to education and stopping violence against women.


    Maine Women's Fund

    Ms. Foundation Katrina Anniversary Resource

    The Ms. Foundation for Women has a long track record of supporting community-based organizations in the Gulf Coast that address the critical issues faced by low income women and women of color. So when the Hurricanes swept through the Gulf Coast, the Foundation was in a unique position to respond, by establishing the Katrina Women’s Response Fund.
