Women’s eNews is pleased to announce our new radio program, Women’s eNews Live, will premiere August 17th at 9:00 a.m. on 1490AM WGCH, with guest speaker Jacqueline M. Ebanks, Executive Director of Women’s City Club of New York. The live show will run every second Wednesday from 9-9:30 a.m., hosted by Women’s eNews’ Executive Director Lori Sokol. It will feature guest interviews with women and teen girl activists, along with our national and international correspondents. It will also highlight the most popular content from Women’s eNews and Teen Voices at Women’s eNews.
“I am very excited that Women’s eNews will be able to build upon the strong reputation it has established as a highly trusted news service by hosting a radio show that will not only expand our audience, but also enable some of our nation’s strongest female activists to tell their stories,” says Sokol.
Women’s eNews Live will include interviews with a variety of activists and storytellers whose work has helped to empower women and girls around the world, including some honored by Women’s eNews as 21 Leaders for the 21st Century.
