(WOMENSENEWS)–A Dallas, Tex., company is specializing in selling men’s tank T-shirts emblazoned with the words, “Wife Beater,” including styles for women, children and infants. The small sizes have the words “Lil Wife-Beater.”
The Web site for Wife-Beater T-Shirts, http://www.wife-beaters.com/, sells the shirts for $20, and it says that convicted wife-beaters who supply proof of conviction get one at half-price with purchase of a $20 shirt. They can be customized with stains, at $1 a stain, for motor oil, blood or cigarette burns. Orders are taken at a Texas shipping company which supplies clothing and orders for other companies.
